At Polo Grounds the Tyler Baseball Stars outscored the John Fab 9 6 to
3.
Ricky Nolasco(2-1) earned his pay with a solid performance for Tyler. He was
reached for 5 hits and 3 walks in 7 innings lowering his ERA from 3.43 to
3.21. John proved to be no trouble in the 9th.
Joey Devine was credited with his 1st save. The loss was charged to Johan
Santana(0-3). He allowed 10 hits and 3 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings.

The Terry Blast U Balls had an easy time of it at Candlestick Park defeating
the Jason Stapley Luck by a score of 7 to 1.
Joe Mauer enjoyed a big evening at the plate. He delivered a base-hit in the
3rd inning and rifled a three-run blast (his 1st of the season) in the 6th
inning. Terry ended up with 11 hits for the game while Jason had 7.
The win was credited to Hiroki Kuroda(1-2) who went 5 innings allowing 1 run.
Darren Oliver recorded the save, his 1st. Joe Saunders(1-3) took the loss.
He got hit pretty hard, allowing 8 hits and 3 walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.
JESSICA AT SAM

Matt Cain(1-2) was on top of his game in Sam as he tossed a beauty of a
no-hitter against the Jessica 2 much baseball. The Sam Mighty Acorns won by
a score of 3 to 0.
Cain was just too much for Jessica. He gave his hometown fans a game they'll
never forget! He allowed Jessica just one walk. What a day for the fans.
They were on the edge of their seats from the 7th inning on. With every out,
the electricity in the air mounted. Jessica went down quietly in the 9th.
Shaun Marcum(0-3) ended up with the loss. When asked how his stuff was out
there, Cain looked a bit incredulous (as did this reporter) and replied 'A
bit better than average, I'd have to say'

Zack Greinke tossed a complete game as the blistering-hot Craig Boys of Summer
defeated the Loni Green Monstahs 10 to 2 at Fenway Park.
The Loni fans didn't appreciate the big day Alfonso Soriano had. He cleared
the fences for a two-run home run (his 3rd of the season) in the 1st inning,
banged out a single which was good for two runs in the 3rd inning and doubled
in the 5th inning. Craig totaled 12 hits on the night.
Greinke(3-0) got the victory, allowing 2 runs for the game. Mark Buehrle(0-4)
suffered the loss. He was knocked around by Craig, allowing 6 hits and 3
walks in 2 innings.
Craig continued their winning ways, seemingly unable to lose during this
stretch.
BEN AT TREVOR

Magglio Ordonez had 2 base hits and 2 RBI and C.C. Sabathia pitched a complete
game at AT&T Park as the Trevor Fencebusters beat the Ben Free K Mitchell 5
to 2.
In the 4th inning Trevor scored 2 runs with the help of 3 hits. After an out
was recorded, Jason Giambi was the sparkplug when he lined a single. After
another out, Bengie Molina came up and he hit a single. Jorge Cantu then
reached on an error. Ordonez stepped in and he stroked a single. Brian
Roberts followed, but he was set down on strikes. Ben could do no damage in
the 9th.
The win was credited to Sabathia(1-1) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Jesse Litsch(1-2) was given the loss. He surrendered 3 runs and 6 hits in 5
and 2/3 innings.
