Dan Uggla blasted a homerun and had 2 RBI as the Loni Green Monstahs beat the
John Fab 9 by a score of 5 to 2.
Felix Hernandez(3-4) earned his pay with a solid performance for Loni. He
went 6 and 2/3 innings surrendering 9 hits and 3 walks. Hernandez chalked up
8 strikeouts. After the 4th inning, neither team was able to score.
Kevin Gregg got the save, his 2nd. Kyle Lohse(4-9) was the losing pitcher.
He was unable to control the Loni offense and allowed 6 hits and 2 walks in 2
and 1/3 innings.

Carlos Delgado lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and had 3 RBI at Busch
Stadium as the Jason Stapley Luck beat the Craig Boys of Summer in 12 innings
5 to 4.
The score was tied at 3 after nine. Jason won it in the 12th inning. After
an out was recorded, Shane Victorino was the sparkplug when he smashed a
bases-empty 'big-fly' (his 3rd of the season). One out later, Chase Utley
stepped up to the plate and he ripped a solo home run (his 8th of the
season). For the game Jason out-hit Craig 13 to 7.
The victory went to Latroy Hawkins(1-0) who went 1/3 of an inning, allowing no
runs. Brian Bruney(1-2) was tagged with the loss in relief.
Jason now has a record of 33-27. With the loss, Craig has a record of 6-4
lately, 37-23 overall.

Todd Wellemeyer delivered 7 solid innings at Wrigley Field where the Sam
Mighty Acorns beat the Ben Free K Mitchell 3 to 1.
Sam brought 2 runs across the plate in the bottom of the 6th inning. The
highlight belonged to Eric Hinske who excited the crowd when he doubled
scoring two baserunners. Mariano Rivera relieved and was untouched by Ben as
he recorded the save, his 13th.
Wellemeyer(4-5) allowed 1 run in 7 innings, and picked up the victory. Tim
Hudson(3-4) was given the loss. He allowed 3 runs and 6 hits in 7 innings.
TREVOR AT TERRY

The Terry Blast U Balls defeated the Trevor Fencebusters by a score of 4 to 1
at Candlestick Park.
In the 4th inning Terry scored 3 runs. Terry banged out 8 hits on the
afternoon. The win was credited to Gil Meche(6-4) who went 6 and 1/3 innings
allowing 1 run. Brian Fuentes earned the save, his 15th. C.C. Sabathia(4-4)
absorbed the loss.
JESSICA AT TYLER

Grady Sizemore had 3 base hits and J.P. Howell pitched 4 strong innings at
Polo Grounds as the Tyler Baseball Stars won a thriller over the Jessica 2
much baseball in, 4 to 3.
The game was decided in the bottom of the 9th inning. Stephen Drew laced a
one-base hit. After an out was recorded, Brandon Inge came up and he drew a
walk. Sizemore then hit a single to load the bases. Kaz Matsui was up next
and he ripped a base-knock giving Tyler the win and sending the home town
fans into a frenzy. Tyler had 10 hits for the afternoon while Jessica had 5.
Roy Corcoran(1-3) went 2/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the win. The loss
was charged to Brad Lidge(1-3) in relief. He allowed 3 hits and 2 walks in 1
and 1/3 innings.
