Roy Halladay racked up an impressive total of 10 strikeouts at Busch Stadium
where the Jason Stapley Luck beat the John Fab 9 in 10 innings by the score
of 4 to 3.

The score was tied at 3 after nine. Jason came out on top in the 10th inning.
Carlos Delgado drew a walk. Alex Rodriguez came to the plate and doubled.
Carlos Quentin then lashed a single resulting in a mighty exciting win for
Jason and the 45,097 home town fans in attendance. Jason had 8 hits for the
game and John had 5.

Trevor Hoffman(1-1) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings.
Jason Grilli(1-3) was the losing pitcher in relief. He surrendered 2 hits
and 2 walks in 3 innings.

One run was the difference at Candlestick Park as the Sam Mighty Acorns
defeated the Terry Blast U Balls 4 to 3.

Todd Wellemeyer(2-4) pitched a solid game. He allowed 8 hits and 2 walks in 8
innings. Terry made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the
needed runs across.

Wellemeyer got help from Mariano Rivera who earned his 7th save. Brian
Fuentes(0-1) was given the loss in relief. Sam now has a record of 14-15.
With the loss Terry now has a record of 12-14.

JESSICA AT TREVOR

Hanley Ramirez cracked a homer as the Trevor Fencebusters topped the Jessica 2
much baseball by a score of 6 to 3 at AT&T Park.

Dan Haren(3-3) pitched a fine game. He was reached for 6 hits and no walks in
6 and 2/3 innings. Trevor had a total of 9 hits for the game.

Joe Nathan earned his 5th save. The loss was charged to Josh Beckett(1-5).
He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 9 hits and 3 walks in 6 and
2/3 innings.


CRAIG AT LONI

Designated hitter Carlos Lee had 2 base hits and 4 RBI as the Loni Green
Monstahs defeated the Craig Boys of Summer by a score of 9 to 2 at Fenway
Park.

James Shields(5-0) delivered a fine performance for Loni. He went 7 and 1/3
innings surrendering 8 hits and 1 walk. Craig had 12 hits in the game while
Loni had 9, but Loni had the more timely hits.

Justin Verlander(0-2) absorbed the loss. He allowed Loni 7 runs in 5 and 2/3
innings of work.

TYLER AT BEN

The Tyler Baseball Stars edged the Ben Free K Mitchell in 10 innings at
Ebbetts Field by the score of 3 to 2.

Both teams were tied at 2 runs apiece after nine innings. Tyler won it in the
10th inning. Stephen Drew doubled. Two outs later Grady Sizemore came up
and he doubled. The game was a scoreless duel until the 7th inning.

The win went to J.P. Howell(2-0) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. Howell was
helped out by Will Ohman who recorded his 1st save. Jeff Bennett(3-2) ended
up with the loss in relief.
