delivered a single resulting in a run in the 8th inning. Craig banged out 15
hits on the night.

The victory was credited to Cook(3-0) who went the distance, allowing 3 runs.
The right-handed Cook lost his no-hit bid when Dioner Navarro singled with
one out in the 6th inning. The losing pitcher was Joe Saunders(1-5). He
gave up 3 hits and 3 walks in 1 and 2/3 innings.

'I've spent a lot of time in the cage and made some adjustments and they've
paid off,' Soriano said. 'I just take the same approach up there. I don't
overanalyze it. I go up there, see the ball and try to put a good swing on
it.'

John was unable to recover after Ben went ahead in the 6th inning scoring a
single run utilizing 2 base hits. Ben had 11 hits for the night.

Jamie Moyer(3-1) allowed 3 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Moyer got help from Carlos Marmol who earned his 6th save. Johan
Santana(0-4) absorbed the loss. He was touched for 11 hits and 4 walks in 8
and 1/3 innings.

'I always am most impressed when a pitcher finds a way to win even without his
best stuff,' Ben Stapley said after the game. 'Moyer did not have command of
his pitches most of the night, but he proved he really knew how to pitch!'

Baseball Stars 5 to 4.

runs on 3 hits. The critical plate appearance was by Cody Ross who quieted
the home crowd when he lofted a three-run bomb (his 3rd of the season). Sam
had a total of 7 hits for the game.

The win went to Andy Sonnanstine(2-4) who allowed 4 runs in 5 innings. Mariano

Homeruns- B.Upton(2nd), J.Dye(8th), M.Ordonez(1st)

Right fielder Jermaine Dye lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and had 6 RBI at
AT&T Park as the Trevor Fencebusters beat the Loni Green Monstahs by the
count of 15 to 8.

The Trevor fans enjoyed the offense provided by Dye. He slapped a base-hit
plating a run in the 1st inning, lashed a single bringing in two baserunners
in the 2nd inning and clubbed a three-run home run (his 8th of the season) in
the 4th inning. Trevor lit up the scoreboard in the 7th inning with 4 runs
on 3 hits. Loni was not lacking for run support as they scored in 5 separate
innings, yet victory eluded them as they seemed to forget that pitching is
also needed to win ballgames.

Jair Jurrjens(2-3) went 7 and 1/3 innings allowing 8 runs for the win. Kevin
Gregg(1-3) was charged with the loss in relief. 'The ball was jumping off my
bat' Dye said. 'I didn't do anything differently, it's the same way I always
approach the game.'
