Evan Longoria left the yard and had 3 RBI at Minute Maid Park as the Jessica 2
much baseball beat the Terry Blast U Balls 9 to 7.

Jessica jumped on top of Terry in the 3rd inning scoring 2 runners on 2 hits.
The big moment was provided by Mike Fontenot who electrified Minute Maid Park
when he banged out a single plating two runs. Terry had a chance to come
back in the 9th but they came up short.

The win was credited to Brandon Webb(2-3) who went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing
5 runs. Webb got help from Brad Lidge who earned his 7th save. Hiroki
Kuroda(3-3) took the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 10 hits and 4 walks in
5 and 2/3 innings.

In a good matchup it was the Craig Boys of Summer 6, the Sam Mighty Acorns 4
at Wrigley Field.

Craig came up with the deciding runs in the top of the 8th inning when they
scored 4 runs on 3 hits. The teams had been locked in a scoreless duel until
the 7th inning.

Brian Bruney(1-0) got the win allowing 2 runs in 2 innings. Jesse Carlson was
credited with his 1st save. Juan Cruz(1-1) was tagged with the loss in
relief.


TYLER AT TREVOR

Jair Jurrjens(4-3) and Ricky Nolasco(4-2) treated the Trevor fans to a fine
pitching duel at AT&T Park. The Trevor Fencebusters eventually emerged as
victors over the Tyler Baseball Stars by the score of 2 to 0.

Tyler fell behind quickly as the Trevor offense came through in the first
inning as they scored 2 runs on 2 base hits. That was all the offense they
were to need. The pitchers took over after the 1st inning as neither team
was able to score again.

Joe Nathan got the save, his 10th.

Designated hitter Prince Fielder connected with a 'big fly' at Yankee Stadium
where the Ben Free K Mitchell beat the John Fab 9 5 to 1.

Ben took the lead for good in the 2nd inning plating an isolated run using 2
hits. Ben ended up with 12 hits for the game while John had 8.

Ryan Dempster(5-3) was the winner allowing 1 run in 5 and 2/3 innings.
Dempster was helped out by Carlos Marmol who recorded his 9th save. John
Danks(3-2) was given the loss.


JASON AT LONI

Third baseman Chone Figgins had 2 base hits at Fenway Park where the Jason
Stapley Luck beat the Loni Green Monstahs by the score of 5 to 1.

Jason scored 3 runs in the 6th inning. The critical plate appearance was by
Kevin Youkilis who disappointed the partisan crowd when he bombed a two-run
dinger (his 9th of the season). Jason rapped out 7 hits for the afternoon.

The winning pitcher was Tim Lincecum(8-0) who allowed 1 run in 6 and 1/3
innings. Grant Balfour recorded the save, his 3rd. Jake Peavy(4-2) was the
loser. He surrendered 5 runs and 6 hits in 6 and 2/3 innings.
